The comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade re-edit and redub Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life." After 50 years of annual performances, George Bailey is sick of being in the film. He desperately wants to be the star of an action film, but everyone else wants him to stop ad-libbing and just play his role.

It’s October. Bailey cares for his mom, who suffers from chronic pain. He's on the mend from the loss of his dog, when he's given notice by his employer that he's being permanently laid-off after Christmas. Adding to Bailey’s anxieties, his childhood best friend, Greyson, comes to visit after not seeing Bailey for thirty years. Time spent with Greyson gives Bailey new hope, a new love… and shows him what a wonderful life he truly has.

Per is doing his military service when he finds out that his girlfriend back home in Stockholm is having an affair. He goes AWOL and tries to find a way back home. On the way he meets Hanna, the daughter of a travelling salesman who joins him on his journey.

Shuichi grew up with his younger brother, older sister, father who ran a shoe making business out of their garage and mother. Shuichi grew up with a crush on an older woman who lived next door and he loved to make piggy banks out of empty whiskey bottles. One day on a school picnic, Shuichi's classmates grabbed a lunchbox from a fellow student and eventually gave the lunch box to Shuichi. All the other students chanted "throw it away," while Shuichi's former friend looked on in despair.

Han Seung Wan and Jung Se Jin bumps into each other at the airport and accidentally take each other's passports. They meet again and Seung Wan and Se Jin end up spending the day together. A year later, Se Jin's clueless sister ends up spilling the secret to Seung-Wan at his engagement party, showing up with his baby daughter. Seung-wan and Se Jin are then forced to marry by their respective families. Complicated love takes place between Do Hyun, Se Jin, Chae Young and Seung-Wan. The rest of the story revolves around the family's journey in learning to take responsibility, and learning to love each other.
